Biography

Kenneth L. Thomson, Esq., a Manning, Caliendo and Thomson partner, graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice in 1992 and the Widener University School of Law in 1995 with a Juris Doctor degree.

While studying at the University of Delaware, Mr. Thomson founded the Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity and was a member fo the Alpha Kappa Delta Sociological Honor Society. In law school, he was a member of the Environmental Law Clinic and received a Certificate of Achievement in Law and Philosophy. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Thomson served as law clerk to the Honorable John A. Ricciardi, presiding judge of the Criminal Division in Monmouth County. 

Mr. Thomson is presently engaged in trial practice throughout New Jersey, representing both petitioners and respondents in workers’ compensation cases, Social Security Disability Appeals and plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury cases. 

Mr. Thomson is a member of the Monmouth County Bar Association and was previously on the Board of Trustees. He is also on the Board of Directors and is past chairman of the Board of Directors of the Western Monmouth County YMCA. Mr. Thomson has also been an active volunteer in coaching for Howell Pop Warner Football, Pinelanders soccer and Howell United Soccer. A lifelong Monmouth County resident, he presently resides in Howell Township with his wife and two sons.
